PreFlight automatically detects environments if you record tests on them. But you can manually add them - then run tests across those different environments.

Managing Environments

To add, see, or delete an environment got to the Test Settings > Environments page.

Here you can see a list of your environments.

To add an environment just enter the URL in the Environment URL field and click Add Environment. When running a test on a new environment this will be detected and automatically added to your list.

To delete an environment, simply click Delete Environment next to the environment in question.

Running tests on an environment

All Tests and Groups

To run tests on an environment, go to All Tests or a Group page and click Run All Tests dropdown and select with custom settings option.

Then you'll be able to select the environment you wish to run the test on from the custom settings page. Just scroll down to the Environment section.

Running a single or selection of tests on an environment

Running tests on a single test or a specific set of test is just as easy.

From the All Tests or a Group page, select the tests you want to run using the checkboxes to the left of the table.

Then click Run Selected Tests in the header bar. You can also choose the with custom settings option here as well!

And that's how you run tests on different environments. If you have any questions we're always happy to help. Start a chat in the bottom right or drop us an email at [email protected]
